She's kicking me!

Yippie! Finally, she's kicked me. Last night I felt those little soda bubbles from within. Not gas! I had some kind of bubbles the last nights before, I think, but I was closer to dreaming and thought that I had just imagined it again, but last night she was busy dancing in the bump for a few minutes :-)

Although I knew that all was fine with baby, just to feel her inside is a huge relief. I hadn't noticed that before, until it happened last night. Afterwards I slept well, like a baby, btw.
Hubby knows, I have texted him last night and he is as happy as can be. I think this was important for him too. Just to have me tell him, that baby kicks. So, whatever else might be today, I think I'll be immune to it, because I am so relieved and happy. :-)

This is a very clear signal that you are not alone

Wow, I have seen some baby bumps, but not once encountered one with that footprint.
That's awesome :-)

Apart from some little things, I feel great. But I did hear your warnings as well!

I couldn't resist this one

    1. DF, I hear you, so I’ll enjoy it as long as possible. I am already waiting for the next round of her dancing, but I think I wouldn’t notice now, during the day. There is too much distraction.

  4. Nina, that lady picture had me totally cracking up! Yes, you are crafty indeed :-) So glad you got to feel baby kick for sure! Unfortunately, DF is right that as you get bigger you may be thinking that you wish she would sleep so you could :-)

    1. River, this is the first time ever that I experienced baby kicking, it is awesome. But as you and DF wrote, the sensation will wear off, so I am going to enjoy it as long as I can. Hmmm, I can barely wait to go to bed now, to relax a little more and wait for her to kick me again. LoL, I have never before had the time of my life while waiting to be kicked by someone.

  6. Oh so wonderful! I remember exactly where I was the first time I felt our oldest move. At first I thought it was gas, but it was in the same place and it kept on coming! Ya know, you might not ever get tired of it! ( I wasn't fond of the foot under the rib cage for a few weeks, but other than that I always loved it).

Enjoy Nina it is such a great feeling- I envy you...although H*LL no I don't want to be pregnant again! Maybe just go back in time for a few hours.

  7. Hi Willie, I love that baby moves and I can feel her. This is so exciting and a marvelous experience for me and for now it is perfect. :-) I know that compared to the late third trimester, all I have are minor inconveniences at best. Well, I am grateful for what I have now and am just happy that baby is well and she shows it nicely by dancing around.

At this moment I hope for more than one successful pregnancy, but I have read in several blogs and heard from some friends that most have a time when they accept it was enough for them. :) I am definitely not there yet.

    hugs

    Nina
