Hello. It's me! :)
I am sorry that I have not been here lately and do not find the time to comment in your blogs. I have read some, but still have to catch up on a lot of what has been going on in your lives. Somehow life has had a surreal touch for me throughout most of February and March, because of several things going on within the family. I am just glad that it was n o t because of me. :)
So, once early March was over, things got much better again quickly. Busy, but better. Somehow I find myself on the road a lot more again, commuting between our home in the city and granny's place, which is close to the coast. I am glad that I can be physically close to her, hold her hand, talk. I am still looking for reactions which cannot come, I know. :( The girls and I use the time when we are so close to the sea and we do have a walk along the coast. Uhm, that is, I do most of the walking, because most of the time Tilda is on her kiddyboard and enjoys the ride as I push the pram with baby. :)
Anyways, this is Easter, we have had two Easter egg hunts with Tilda and my nieces, Kate has been sleeping through these, probably because she is more into milk, and chocolate and sweets are not appealing to her yet. I hope you have a wonderful day, filled with all the good things in life.
Happy Easter, Nina, have a lovely day,

Wishing you and yours a very Happy Easter, Nina. Can't wait until you're writing about both girls hunting Easter eggs. ;) Kisses and tummy tickles to both girls from Auntie Cat please.

Hi Cat, Happy Easter! The Easter egg hunts were fun, we had to make sure that the older girls leave some spots for Tilda to find sweets, which she did, so it was great fun for all. :) I gave both girls lots of tummy tickles and kisses and they love them! :)

Belated Happy Easter to you, Nina! :) It is always good to hear from you! Sounds like the girls are growing nicely, and that their mom is enjoying it all too!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about your Granny! :( I know all too well about the pain of being in front of someone that you love so very much, and getting no response. It's very hard. I am glad to see that when you make your journey there, you take a nice walk with the girls, and do something to brighten your spirits. It's important to keep on with that. And do some hefty leaning on that hubby of yours too, okay? I think of you often, and am so very glad to hear from you! <3
I hope that little Tilda found lots of eggs and candy to put in her basket, and that Kate seemed to enjoy the sights and sounds and excitement of the day too! Many hugs, and teeny tiny ones for the girls,
<3 Katie
Hi Katie, Happy belated Easter to you too! Oh yes, we are having some hectic times here, and my little honey bees are so wonderful, and they are definitely growing nicely, Kate tries to lift her head but cannot really hold it up yet, and she is cooing and gurgling so much that it is pure joy just to listen to her. Tilda has become a real character by now, pretty headstrong at times, and exploring the world whenever she can. Definitely her dad’s daughter! :) And she found a lot eggs and candy, though the older girls were quicker, they played along and left some spots for her, and even helped her finding sweets. :)
DeleteI don’t know if it is just me of if this happens to others too, but somehow the way I am able to cope with granny’s situation goes up and down, sometimes within the same day. She is cared for, she is loved and I hope she can feel some of it, somehow. But after visiting her I am glad that we can go to the water and having my girls there in these moments is the best. If nothing else works, they always manage to take my mind of things. :)
Hubby has been awfully busy lately, and it has not always been easy for us to find enough time together, however both of us know that we need our quality time, so we do try hard to find the moments that are meant for us. Actually some of the quality time we missed was not because of hubby being busy, but just because of me falling asleep, and I am glad that hubby was understanding in these moments too. Nevertheless, all in all we have found our daily routine and things are getting better, so that we thought about spankings again, too, in April. The sooner the better!
I have hugged and kissed both little ones, and it ended in a little sofa quality time for us girls. :)
hugs and love

Oh so sorry to miss this! Happy be-later Easter! Gosh I hope everything was as wonderful as it seems here! Cherish all these precious moments with your girls!
ReplyDeleteHi Minelle, I am sorry for being late with my reply too! :) We are having a good time, maybe a little busy, but that is more because I am commuting a lot between Hamburg and granny's place, apart from that I love that Tilda is exploring so much, and since the garden season has started, she has so much more to find out about. Easter was great for us, my nieces are getting closer to this age where they might be too cool for Easter egg hunts, but not yet. They are old enough to help Tilda though and enjoy that, so that Tilda had lots of fun hunting for eggs too. Did I mention it was great? Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

It's well past Easter now, but I'm just getting around to catching up with people myself. I'm sorry about your Granny, but glad you're enjoying time with your girls. (((hugs)))
ReplyDeleteHi Lilli, thank you for being here. Granny's condition has not changed much, although for me she looks more frail than a few months ago. But that seems to be only my perception, because everybody else keeps saying she hasn't changed, looks 'good'. Ugh, this is a frustrating situation, because I cannot do anything. However I am happy that my two little sunshines are there, and they make sure that the days are awesome ones. :) Wishing you a great weekend.
