Rock-a-bye, baby
In the treetop.
When the wind blows,
The cradle will rock.
When the bough breaks,
The cradle will fall,
And down will come baby,
Cradle and all.
Baby is drowsing,
Cosy and fair.
Mother sits near,
In her rocking chair.
Forward and back,
The cradle she swings,
And though baby sleeps,
He hears what she sings.
In the treetop.
When the wind blows,
The cradle will rock.
When the bough breaks,
The cradle will fall,
And down will come baby,
Cradle and all.
Baby is drowsing,
Cosy and fair.
Mother sits near,
In her rocking chair.
Forward and back,
The cradle she swings,
And though baby sleeps,
He hears what she sings.
Nope, mother is not singing yet. Mother is yawning! A little bit like this ...

and since I don't want to look like this ....
I'll go and buy something similar to this!
Last night was not worth talking about. Let's leave it with that.
The women instructions-manual ...

And just like they used to do from ancient times till today, I'd love sleeping in a dry and warm place, but not like a mummy, no, more like a ...

So, if the tea works, I'll finally catch up on some sleep.
Sorry to say mother nature is preparing you well for the sleepless nights. Don't stress about it, sleep in the day, when you can, sleep isn't always about night time. Hope you find sleep soon.

DF
Hi DF, I’ll just do what you suggest, sleeping in the day and when I can. Last night was slightly better, so I assume the tea helped a little, but it was still too short. So, I’ll try to sleep a little more in the afternoon. Maybe it works.

Unfortunately Df is right, and as little sleep as you get now, you may look back on these nights as "the good old days"! I sure hope the tea works for now. Napping is an excellent idea as well, both now and after baby comes

Hi River, lol so this what the good old days will be like. :) If I weren’t too tired, I’d almost enjoy it, but then again, hubby doesn’t mind if I sleep whenever I can. I’ll have a nap this afternoon, later on a long walk with my friend and later on a warm bath, valerian and warm milk. So, if that doesn’t make me sleepy, I don’t know.

Ooh, I just thought of a great way to help you sleep if you are not restricted (by Dr. or Hubby). Have an orgasm at bedtime! It will relax you and hopefully help you sleep. I have a friend who calls orgasms "natures ambien" :-)
DeleteHi River, now this is a very good idea. :) My sexdrive is still as high and hungry for more as it has been for weeks, so I absolutely love that idea. Hubby is very obliging when it comes to sex and orgasms at the moment. Drinking tea helps a little with sleeping, I managed to sleep about five (interrupted) hours at night, which is good, compared to last week's sleep. So, if orgasms at bedtime make me sleep longer, I'll enjoy that for sure :)

Cute post Nina, love the cute pics :) I hope you are able to get some sleep soon. As the others have said, nap when you can.

Roz
Hi Roz, I am really too tired to write longer posts at the moment, and since picture posts are in almost every blog I thought this would be a neat alternative for now, and the baby animals are way too cute not to show. :) Hubby really tries to help, but apart from tucking me in at night, there’s not much he can do at the moment.
