Hi
everybody, sorry for the dust around my blog, but this year I had more of this
feeling that there are simply not enough hours to do what I want to. Maybe you
know what I mean. Uhm, maybe I am just bad at time management. But I am still
happy that people stop by and seem to read here. Thank you for that. I
appreciate this a lot, and if you like to, leave a comment. :)
Any news?
Not sure,
but maybe there is no real news. I am still exiled with the girls because of
this horrible man. Actually he is not even allowed to come within the vicinity
of our house, but I am not sure if reminding him of that while he is trying to
do what he wants to is really going to stop him. I have my doubts.
As a result most weeks hubby
is here during the weekends, and during the week I have different ‘bodyguards’,
sometimes my sisters, at other times friends, and most of the time Amy, the
best friend you could ever have. Nobody wants us girls to be alone here, which is
considerate (<-understatement), but whenever this topic comes up I have this
urge to justify why she is around so much more than anybody else.
Well, first
of all I have not asked her to come around so much, it is what she wants (she
insists), and of course I love her, and even more for what she is doing for us.
However, any attempts of mine to kiss the ground she is walking on have
embarrassed her, so I changed my plans to spoiling her as much as possible. :D
She tries the same, spoiling us, I mean.
As you can
see, if there were not some sort of stalking maniac after me, and hubby away
during the week, life would be almost completely awesome. ‘Almost’ because of my
granny’s ongoing fight in hospital. I have had some ups and downs because it makes
me so sad, and it is frustrating me a lot that there is no reaction ever, but
this is the new normal for the time being. I like this better than the
alternative. In down moments I feel different and hate myself for that. Ok,
this was the negative part, sorry for that. Let’s come back to the awesome
bits!
We do sneak
into Hamburg occasionally during the week; hey, where do you think I leave my
time?! Driving around - but only into some parts of the city. Besides, since I
am such a city kid, being here in the north is still like being on holiday! We
live in the countryside, somewhere pretty close to nowhere, but this is a
lovely place. And we have met a lovely couple with a little daughter, which is
even better, because playdates for Tilda! :)
So, it
seems there are no real news from over here, and I am simply glad that LOL-day
is two days long. Things are just as busy as they are during the week, because
hubby is here, and we girls want to spend time with him. It has become pretty
late, but I simply enjoyed writing again, and tomorrow I’ll be visiting blogs. :)
Thank you for visiting here,
wishing you all a happy weekend,
and
a happy
Love Our Lurkers day 2016
Hi sweet Ni Na! I'm so happy to hear from you! Although I'm sad you are still dealing with that awful person!
ReplyDeleteYou are so blest to have wonderful loving family and friends to stand in protection of you and the girls!
Happy LOL day!
Hi Minelle, thank you for stopping by! You are so right about our family and friends. The funny thing is that without this awful person in the background staying here would be like a wonderful ongoing holiday. :) We'll just have to wait until it is over. Happy LOL day!

Nina
Happy LOL Days, darlin' Nina! So happy you were able to blow the dust off and join in. I'm sorry you are still having to deal with the jerk but happy you have so much protection...and of course those sweet girls. Please give both of the hugs and tummy tickles from Auntie Cat!
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings...Cat
Hi Cat, the girls are having a wonderful time here. We can do all we did in the city too, and some of it is much less complicated here. Baby swimming? Come and join. Children's gymnastics? We'd be happy to have you. That was more complicated in Hamburg, and here you get to know every mom and child quickly, and most people around are far more relaxed. Hm, probably I'm the one who comes over as the neurotic helicopter mom here. :) Well, I am definitely helicoptering. :)I delivered the hugs and tummy tickles, but had to catch Tilda first. Kate tried to escape from being caught too once she saw how exciting being chased by mom is. :) Happy LOL day!

Thinking of you...nice to hear how you are doing...sorry for the struggles but glad you have support Hugs
ReplyDeleteHi Terps, thank you for stopping by! I am also glad that we do have family and friends who want to help, and most of the time I can push things aside, and I feel so blessed for having the girls to distract me just in the right moments, too. :) Wishing you a Happy LOL Day and a wonderful weekend.

Hi Nina, darling girl. How horrid to have to deal with the stalking maniac. I am very glad you were able to join in LOL day. Nice that Tilda has a friend now, hopefully she will grow up to be her Amy. Have a fun weekend with Hubby, big hugs to the girls
ReplyDeletelove Jan, xx
Hi Jan, writing something for LOL Day was great, and I would love to write more again, even if it is only about the little things, but I really do miss it a lot. Tilda is having lots of fun here, and it would be so wonderful if we could keep the connection for her. She'll be happier for having someone like Amy. :) One of the problems that the girls do not know is that we are currently so torn between two places, and it would be so much better to have one. I try to keep the connections to moms and babies in Hamburg, but silly as it sounds, sometimes just going there can be a sort of stumbling block, because it is not only around the corner. However, I like organizing playdates, and more so meeting friends, so usually there is a way. :) So, if organizing how to meet friends is my greatest trouble, we must be in a good place. :)I hope so much all is well with your DIL and grandbaby, too! Wishing you a lovely weekend, and a happy LOL Day.

Nina
Hi Nina, it must be hard to make friends in two places. I know when son and dil moved she struggled to settle in. My son works long hours in the city and she was isolated. Now though, she has a little car and her and grandbaby have joined a few baby groups and she has had some playdates too. I hope you can get settled with it all soon, hugs Jan, xx
DeleteOh Jan, I am so glad that your dil has got the car now, because not being able to meet up with others who might only be a few miles away really creates so much frustration. I felt kind of isolated at first too, and joining baby groups here definitely helped me as well. hugs and love Nina
DeleteHi Nina, wonderful to hear from you and I'm so glad you were able to join in LoL Day. So sorry you are still dealing with the maniac and glad you are surrounded by loving and supportive friends and family. Glad too you are in a lovely place and that Tilda has a new friend :)
ReplyDeleteHappy LoL Day! Have a wonderful weekend with hubby :)
Hugs
Roz
Hi Roz, wonderful to hear from you too! I read what you wrote about the earthquake, and knowing that you are safe is such a relief. I am glad that I managed writing for LOL Day too, if only instead of writing about this maniac I could write about spankings and the exciting things that come with it. That would be so nice. :) Well, I'll try later. Family and friends have been supportive and I appreciate that so much. I wished there was a way to show them how grateful we are for their help, but maybe spoiling them is a good start. :) Wishing you a lovely weekend, and Happy LOL Day.

So good to see you Nina.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was pregnant with our second son a neighbour said to me, "You are going to wonder what you did with all your spare time before" which I thought was odd~ until I had two children under 3! lol. I highly doubt you are poor at time management, little people take time and engergy. You most likely are just putting both to the best use.
I too am sorry to hear things haven't changed with your stalker. I sincerely hope that changes really soon.
willie
Hi willie, I really have no idea how a single day can be so short. Maybe it is because there are so many little things to do. They do not take much time in themselves, but they quickly add up, and the day is over. :o Well, we do have time for each other here, and playing with the kids or having our walk through the fields are moments of real quality time. And, yep, you are so right, little people take time and energy. :)
DeleteI also hope that the stalker will be caught, or the situation changes soon. Time is on our side though, that's what the experts say. It is unsettling, but out here I can ignore it most of the time. The nights are what gets me most, because during the week hubby is not here, and that sucks. Ha, but now is weekend, so hubby is here, and with him in it the bed is warmer! :)

Nina
NiNa - so glad you decided to join this day. Love learning about what's been going on and so sorry you're still dealing with issues that I wish were left behind you. Hugs and blessings for a better tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteHappy Days to you - not just LOL
Hi Sunny, thank you for coming over. :) Oh yes, I would also love to get rid of some of the stuff we are dealing with, but all in all we are not in too bad of a place. Happy LOL Day, and wishing you lots of happy days too. :)

Nina
Hi Nina! :) So glad to hear from you! I'm so sorry that you are dealing with that horrible stalker! I'm glad to hear that you have your friend Amy, and your hubby there, to help keep you safe. I hope that situation gets taken care of really soon!
ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to you regarding your Granny. Those kinds of situations are tough as can be. I understand completely. You know, she just has to somehow feel all that love. That is what I come down to with that. That, and also remind yourself that you are giving her all that you can. Feel good about all that love! Giant Hugs!
You take good care! Happy LOL Days, Nina! Many hugs and love. Teeny tiny little squeezes for Tilda and Kate! They must be growing like crazy! Such a sweet time! Stay strong!
<3 Katie
Hi Katie, We are feeling safer here, and we do hope that things will improve. However I also have to say that this place in the countryside is cozy, and people around are awesome too. :)
DeleteI can only agree, my hope is that granny knows we are there. It is what we can do, and I am glad that I can do this for her.
Kate and Tilda are doing fine, and one of the best things for them is that we can leave the house and are right between fields within a minute. There are endless things to discover for them! :) I have kissed and squeezed both of them from you, and they loved it. Oh yes, they are growing like crazy, and Kate has started walking when she can hold on to something. But when she wants to be quick she is still on all fours. :) I love watching them grow and learn, that's the best ever! Wishing you a wonderful weekend, and Happy LOL Day.
hugs and love
Nina
Hello Nina,
ReplyDeleteI think this is my first visit here, happy LOL Day!
I am so sorry you are dealing with a stalker.
The little people take up all the time and energy! Time management definitely looks differently than it once did.
Hi Bleue D`ame, thank you for stopping by. Oh yes, time management definitely has become tricky for me. I am still not sure where the time goes. Wishing you a happy LOL Day.

Hi Nina, and welcome back. I am sad that you are still having to deal with that nutter but you know there are always (virtual) hugs and blessings showering down upon you. It is great to hear that the girls are doing well. Hugs and blessings this and every day
ReplyDeleteHi Don, thank you, even with this maniac being on the loose we are pretty safe here I think, and all this led to us meeting some lovely friends. The girls are having a great time, and being a bit away from some of the hectic parts of life is definitely great for all of us. :) Wishing you a lovely weekend, and a happy LOL Day.

Hi NiNa!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you were able to post on LOL Day and give everyone an update. To repeat what everyone is saying, sorry to hear about the stalker and hoping that problem goes away soon. Hope you are enjoying motherhood as best you can.
Here's to seeing you around more often.
Best,
Enzo
Hi Enzo, thank you for stopping by. I also hope that I manage being around again more often. I miss writing things here, and over the past months only found time to read the other blogs. So, I do hope I can squeeze in the one or two comments, and maybe even a blog entry now and then. :) Yes, the stalker can stalk away, if you ask me. He has made things more complicated than I could imagine. But we are well protected, and being with the girls is simply the best! :) Wishing you a lovely Sunday, and of course a happy (belated, sorry)LOL Day.

Nina, It's so wonderful to see you and happy yu were able to join in LOL Day. Sorry you are still dealing with this maniac.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you. Love to you and all.
Love,
Ronnie
xx
Hi Ronnie, I am happy to be back here and love that you have come over too. :) We'll have to see how long until we can return back home, but for now staying out of the city is awesome too. I mean, just knowing that I cannot simply go where I want to is a constant reminder, but I think most of the time we have a nice and cozy place here and enjoy what we have. Wishing you a wonderful week.
